On June 19, the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, Alpha Ring and WI Harper jointly hosted a charity concert at the Eslite Spectrum Songyan Performance Hall in Taipei, bringing together valued clients and partners of both organizations to celebrate the holiday through music — and to honor WI Harper founder Peter Liu’s long-held belief in giving back to society.
The evening featured a performance by the One Song Orchestra, presented under the theme “Music Toward Abundance: A Guide to a Richer and Happy Life.” Conducted by One Song Orchestra Music Director Li Che-yi and narrated by bestselling finance author and One Song Orchestra Strategy Officer Hao Hsu-lieh, the program wove together twelve beloved Taiwanese songs spanning generations with Hao’s “Six Principles of Happiness.” Guests were invited to reflect, through music and storytelling, on why time is more valuable than money, why passion and companionship are life’s most enduring investments, and how to strike a balance between wealth and well-being — cultivating what the program called true “inner abundance.”
“The purpose of building a business isn’t only to create wealth — it’s to give that success back to society,” said Peter Liu, Founder of WI Harper. “This concert is our way of putting that belief into practice through music.”
For Alpha Ring, co-hosting the evening with WI Harper to welcome longtime clients and partners during the Dragon Boat Festival carried special meaning.
