Dr. Allan Chen, PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, is VP of Engineering at Alpha Ring, where he leads fusion experiments, particle diagnostics, and educational fusion device production. With 10+ years developing compact D-D and D-T neutron generators—especially for BNCT—he focuses on making advanced treatment more accessible. He recently built a table-top neutron generator for hands-on student learning in plasma physics and engineering. Dr. Chen also serves as Science Advisor at AstroForge and formerly held senior roles at Adelphi Technology, advancing neutron generator efficiency and compact design.
