The Monterey Lab focuses on experimental fusion research, particularly using a Superconducting Magnet system to study plasma behavior and facilitate aneutronic fusion investigations. The team employs a range of diagnostic tools for charged particle detection and emission analysis, including silicon detectors and other sensor arrays, to gather experimental evidence of fusion reactions. Our goal is to generate robust experimental data that supports the commercialization of compact aneutronic fusion technologies.
